What is Color Drop?

Color Drop (Vietnamese: Xếp Màu) is a head-to-head disc-dropping game on a 7-column × 6-row grid: two players take turns dropping their coloured discs into a column, and each disc falls to the lowest empty slot in that column. The first player to line up a row of 4 of their discs — across, down or diagonal — wins; if the grid fills with no row completed, the game is a draw.

It sounds simple, but every drop reshapes the board: block your opponent's line, set a two-way trap, force them to defend one spot while you win in another. It is one of the classic "easy to learn, hard to master" duels — and a game takes only a few minutes.

The rules in 60 seconds

• Drop a disc: tap or click a column to drop your disc; it falls to the bottom of the column.
• Win: line up 4 of your discs in a row — across, down or diagonal.
• Draw: the grid is full (42 discs) and nobody has a row of 4.
• First move: Coral (the orange discs) always moves first; in rooms, rematches swap who moves first to keep things fair.

Play the computer at 12 levels

From level 1 for first-timers up to level 12, "Unbeatable" — the top level analyses positions with an exact solver, so climb the ladder one rung at a time. Wins earn XP and move your Elo rating, just like the other board games in the SynerWorlds family.

The centre column is the strongest spot: a disc there takes part in more potential rows than anywhere else. And don't only watch your own lines — before every drop, check whether your opponent is "hanging" a three that is about to become a row.
