What is Chroma Beads?

Chroma Beads (Xếp Bi) is a ball-lines puzzle in the classic "line them up and score" tradition — kin to Color Lines / Lines 98, the PC-era favourite. The board is 9×9 and the beads come in 7 colours. It sounds gentle, but every move is a small puzzle: clear a path for a bead to travel, gather same-colour beads together, and never let the board fill up before you can burst a line.

The rules in 60 seconds

• Opening: 5 beads start on the board.
• Move: each turn, move ONE bead to an empty cell — as long as a free path (orthogonal steps, no diagonals, no jumping over other beads) connects the two cells. The bead runs along that path so you can follow it.
• Make a line — beads burst: if your move completes a line of 5 or more beads of one colour (across, down or diagonal), those beads burst, you score, and no new beads drop this turn.
• No line: 3 new beads drop onto random empty cells — exactly the 3 colours previewed in the "Next" box. If a dropped bead completes a line, that line bursts right away too.
• Ending: the game ends when no empty cell remains after a drop.
• Scoring: a line of 5 scores 10 points, each extra bead adds 4 (6 = 14, 7 = 18, 8 = 22, 9 = 26); bursting several lines in one move adds 10 points per extra line.
• Undo & hint: the ↩ Undo button restores the exact state before your last move (including the upcoming beads); the 💡 Hint button points out a move that completes or builds a line.
