Letter Fumble launches: one secret five-letter word a day — six guesses to find it
One word a day — the whole community guesses together
SynerWorlds has a new little morning ritual: Letter Fumble, a daily word game where each day hides exactly one secret five-letter word, and every player everywhere guesses the same word. You get at most six guesses. Run out, and the answer is revealed — tomorrow brings a brand-new word.
How to play in 30 seconds
- Type any five-letter word and press Enter.
- Tiles change colour after every guess: green means the right letter in the right place; yellow means the letter is in the word but in a different place; grey means the letter is not in the answer.
- Duplicate letters are handled strictly: if the answer contains only one E and your guess has two, at most one E tile lights up — the other stays grey. This is the detail that makes the game fair and genuinely about deduction.
- The on-screen keyboard recolours itself with everything you have learned, so you can narrow the field down step by step.
Why come back daily?
The daily puzzle keeps a win streak: solve today, come back tomorrow, keep the chain alive. The statistics panel records games played, win percentage, your longest streak and a guess-distribution chart — great fun to look back on after a month. Every week, a leaderboard honours the players who solved the most dailies (ties go to whoever used fewer total guesses).
Not in a competitive mood? Practice mode offers unlimited random words that never touch your streak.
Share without spoiling
After each game you can share your coloured grid — just green, yellow and grey squares, never a single letter. Friends can see whether you cruised or struggled, but the answer stays secret: everyone still has to play their own game.
